{"id":3128,"date":"2026-04-20T09:47:32","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T01:47:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.petersonhk.com\/?post_type=opportunities&#038;p=3128"},"modified":"2026-04-20T09:53:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T01:53:04","slug":"building-services-inspector-2-5-year-contract","status":"publish","type":"opportunities","link":"https:\/\/www.petersonhk.com\/tc\/opportunities\/building-services-inspector-2-5-year-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"Building Services Inspector (2.5-Year Contract)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support to the Construction Manager &amp; Project team in overseeing &amp; supervising the development projects<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of construction works sequence and provide site supervision on all aspects of Building Services works<\/li>\n<li>Monitor building services work on site within the contracts and the maintenance of site records<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the site works being carried out in compliance with statutory and contract requirements<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular inspections on building services installation to ensure compliance with approved drawings and materials and up to required quality standard<\/li>\n<li>Monitor contractor&#8217;s submissions and progress of\u00a0BS installation works<\/li>\n<li>Prepare site progress reports list and compile various site records<\/li>\n<li>Assists in performing the required environmental and safety duties<\/li>\n<li>Attend site meetings, coordination meetings and other utilities coordination meetings<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal parties for handover inspection, witness testing &amp; commissioning of new assets<\/li>\n<li>Prepare outstanding defect lists and follow up with Contractors for defect rectification works<\/li>\n<li>Handling ad-hoc projects as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma \/ Higher Certificate in Building Services Engineering, Electrical \/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 8 years relevant site work experience in handling onsite building services inspections and coordination works<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of the construction works sequence and provide supervision on all aspects of Building Services work on site<\/li>\n<li>Experience in high-end residential projects preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Qualities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organization skills and effective communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good supervisory skills of technical \/ site staff<\/li>\n<li>Able to handle project independently and adaptable<\/li>\n<li>Positive mindset with good working attitude<\/li>\n<li>Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We offer an attractive compensation package, bank holidays, medical benefits, and paid examination leave to the right candidate.<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates please send your detailed resume with your present and expected salary to <a href=\"mailto:recruit@petersonhk.com\">recruit@petersonhk.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Employment application data held by the Group will be treated in strict confidence and used only for recruitment purposes.
