We are honoured to announce that Midtown Centre by Fender Katsalisdis received the \u201cLord Mayor\u2019s Brisbane Buildings that breathe Architecture Prize\u201d in June 2022. The prize recognizes outstanding achievement in architecture for buildings that demonstrate strong alignment with Brisbane City Council\u2019s New World City Design Guide \u2013 Buildings that Breathe.<\/p>\n

The guide provides a shared vision for achieving subtropical building design in Brisbane. New buildings in Brisbane\u2019s city centre, mixed-use inner city, transport corridors, and principle regional activity centres embrace the subtropical climate. They open up to cooling breezes, providing lush landscaping, shade and comfort.<\/p>\n
