Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Investment Analyst to support the investment team across deal sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio monitoring. This is a generalist role spanning multiple asset classes — private equity, private credit, venture capital, hedge funds, and real estate — offering broad exposure to alternative investments and direct involvement in live transactions. The role suits a candidate with a strong analytical foundation who is eager to develop a well-rounded skill set across the private and public markets investment process.

Key Responsibilities 

Investment Research and Deal Screening

  • Identify and screen potential investment opportunities across multiple asset classes.
  • Conduct market, sector, and competitive research to support investment themes.
  • Prepare concise screening notes and preliminary investment summaries for senior review. 

Due Diligence and Financial Analysis

  • Build and maintain financial models, including valuation, returns, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Support commercial, financial, and legal due diligence, including data room review and diligence tracking.
  • Assist in preparing investment committee materials, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.

Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting

  • Monitor portfolio performance, key metrics, capital calls, distributions, and investor notices.
  • Prepare regular portfolio reports, dashboards, and updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Support valuation updates and quarterly NAV review processes.

Transaction and General Investment Support

  • Assist with transaction execution, documentation coordination, and closing logistics.
  • Maintain deal pipeline trackers, investment databases, and presentation materials.
  • Support ad hoc research, internal analysis, and special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, hedge funds, or a related financial services role
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with proficiency in AI tools
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Exposure to alternative investments (private equity, private credit, venture capital, hedge funds, or real estate) is preferred
  • Progress towards or completion of CFA, CPA, or other relevant professional qualification is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin proficiency preferred

Assistant Financial Controller

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the financial reporting and operational finance functions across the Group’s family office, investment vehicles, and portfolio companies. The successful candidate will manage a small finance team, oversee monthly management accounts for individual project vehicles, manage the team’s treasury function, and liaise with the Group’s finance team on group-level reporting and consolidation. The role also encompasses fund administration, portfolio operations management, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly management accounts, group-level consolidation, and financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage financial reporting across multiple investment entities, holding companies, funds, and portfolio companies.
  • Lead and support finance team members, review deliverables, and maintain effective accounting policies, controls, and reporting workflows.
  • Manage fund administration activities, including NAV preparation, capital account statements, drawdowns, distributions, treasury, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Prepare portfolio company reporting packs, monitor KPIs, budget variances, and cash positions, and support reporting enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate investment records, support LP reporting, and assist with deal execution from a finance and operations perspective.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, banks, legal counsel, and other external service providers.
  • Support statutory filings, corporate governance documentation, SFC regulatory obligations, preparation of FRR, KYC / AML clearance, and relevant Hong Kong family office tax concession requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for management reporting, financial summaries, operational reports and portfolio dashboards.
  • Liaise with company secretarial team to maintain up-to-date statutory records, and annual filings across all jurisdictions. 

Requirements 

  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial finance role.
  • Background in financial institutions, family offices, asset managers, or alternative investment platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to multiple asset classes, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and/or real estate, is highly valued.
  • Hands-on experience with fund administration and operations.
  • Strong consolidation and multi-entity reporting skills across jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with SFC regulatory requirements and Hong Kong company law is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
  • Candidate with more experiences may be considered for the position as Financial Controller
