This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, supporting users, and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day IT operations. The successful candidate will provide hands-on support across hardware, software, network and Microsoft 365 environments, while helping the team identify practical ways to use AI tools to enhance service efficiency and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the IT team in monitoring and maintaining infrastructure setup and operations.
- Troubleshoot Windows performance, connectivity, and application issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint, as well as internal business applications.
- Diagnose network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi and VPN matters, and escalate complex cases where appropriate.
- Set up, configure and deploy employee hardware, including laptops, peripherals and mobile devices.
- Act as the first point of contact for onsite IT support, delivering prompt and reliable technical assistance to users.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes by ensuring timely device provisioning and appropriate account access.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory records and track the equipment lifecycle.
- Deliver a high-quality user support experience with professionalism, patience and empathy.
- Collaborate with the IT team to explore and apply AI-driven tools that enhance support efficiency and employee experience.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Associate Degree or above in Information Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in corporate IT support, helpdesk support or a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems, and commonly used office applications
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Active Directory and identity/access management workflows.
- Experience in device setup, imaging and endpoint management.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical users.
- Dependable, proactive and service-oriented, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Interest in learning and applying AI technologies to improve IT support operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot common issues relating to networks, VPN and Wi-Fi.
- Proactive, helpful and patient, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, a team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, particularly AI solutions that can enhance daily work efficiency.
