Celebrating Young Changemakers: The Fred Hollows Humanity Award 2025

At Peterson, we believe every small step can ignite significant and meaningful change.  Through the Peterson Foundation, we are proud to support initiatives like the Fred Hollows Humanity Award 2025, which encourages young students to transform their compassion into action and make a genuine difference in the lives of others.

Since its launch in Hong Kong in 2017, this impactful initiative has recognized students from Primary 3 to Primary 6 who exemplify kindness, collaboration, and a commitment to helping others through action-oriented projects.

The Peterson Foundation is honored to sponsor the awards for the second time. The 2025 Fred Hollows Humanity Award received over 400 inspiring entries from young changemakers dedicated to improving their communities.  This initiatives highlights the potential of our next generation to drive positive change when guided by values of empathy and leadership.

On 14 June 2025 our Philanthropy member, Cheri Lok, proudly represented the Peterson Foundation at the awards ceremony, where she presented awards and celebrated this incredible milestones with students, families, and educators.

We remain deeply committed to supporting youth leadership, community growth, and initiatives that empower the next generation to lead with kindness, purpose, and action.
