To commemorate the 28th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Peterson Group was honored to extend its full support to the “North District in Miniature” Exhibition.  The opening ceremony, held on 27 June 2025 at Spot, was officiated by Ms. To Kit Lai, Priscilla, JP, Director of Home Affairs, along with other esteemed guests, marking the launch of this remarkable exhibition.

The exhibition features an exquisite collection of 28 meticulously crafted miniature artworks by talented artists, offering a vivid representation of the North District’s abundant cultural heritage, historical architecture, and vibrant traditions.  Among these, seven prominent exhibit pieces depicted the unique characteristics scenery of the four areas in the North District, covering Sheung Shui, Fanling, Sha Tau Kok, and Ta Kwu Ling, collectively known as “Sheung-Fan-Sha-Ta” (上粉沙打).

Through intricate artworks, visitors can delve into the local village life, gain insight into Hakka culture, and experience the festive traditions of the North District, deepening their appreciation for its unique cultural charm.  This exhibition serves as a “Window to the North District,” not only showcasing miniature landscapes, iconic architecture and the rural beauty of the district but also inspiring the public to explore its allure.

This exhibition aligns with the government’s initiative of “Tourism is Everywhere” and encouraging citizens to visit the North District and actively contribute to the local economy.  It embodies the concept of “Bringing Tourism into the Community”, highlighting the endless possibilities of community tourism.
