Generator/Freehand

The Group is the lead investor in the Generator project through our partner Queensgate Investments. In 2017, Queensgate Investments acquired Generator with the aim of establishing this portfolio as a leader in hospitality.

In October 2019, the Group took over Freehand Hotels, including its four properties located in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York. Generator/Freehand offers unique, stylish, sociable, and affordable accommodation across 19 destinations. It is recognized as Europe’s fastest-growing boutique accommodation brand, strategically located in prime areas.

As a pioneer of affordable luxury and a master of the social experience, all properties feature a variety of room types, from shared to private bedrooms.

As well as chill-out areas, bars, cafes, and diverse spaces available for private hire—ranging from street-facing or basement exhibition spaces to penthouse suites and rooftops. This successful concept is anchored by award-winning interior design.
